Author photo: Xènia Berta

The trace of the first inhabitants of Roses is very close to the town, scattered by the mountain, the place known as the Casa cremada. These are the funeral buildings of those firsts inhabitants: dolmensmenhirs and cists; which formed part of the rituals of these individuals during Neolithic time. There are three dolmens in the park include: La Creu d’en Corbatella (3000-2700 BC), Llit de la Generala (3200 BC) and the Cap de l’home.
