At the top of the mountain of Verdera stands one of the most interesting monuments to better know the world medieval. Here are three elements that together represent the pillars of feudal society: those who pray at the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes; those who produce in the town of Santa Creu, and those who fight in the castle of Verdera.
In the center is set the monastery of Sant Pere, which became the most important monastery of the Empúries County both for the leading role of its abbots and because it was an important center of pilgrimage thanks to the relics guarded.
